Hello All!
As I write this we have just have finished our third and final day of walking in this city and are resting in our favorite little coffee shop. It is very modern and unique for this area and I love it! Oh the things we have seen, heard, smelt, tasted and experienced to the fullest=) I know we all can’t wait to share more. Perhaps my favorite part of walking took place through eye contact. It was a connection that seemed to quietly say “you and I are the same and we are all dearly loved!” Humanity at its core! I will soon not forget their faces, but instead it has become clear that we have these people on our hearts for a reason and we should not take it lightly! Even with this humidity that gives our humidity at home a run for its money, every minute has been worth it….perhaps more than we know=) Guess that’s it for now!

Hey, it’s Danny here.
Last nights meal was quite the adventure. We walked way away from our hotel in order to find another restaurant for dinner. It was getting late and we spotted a place that appeared to be serving food. When we got there they ushered us to a different dining area than what we initially saw. No one speaks English. (at all) We were having trouble ordering from a non English menu and so finally the hostess motioned for me to follow her. They took me in the kitchen and began pointing out different foods. If you know me, I am willing to try them all but I also had to think of everyone else on the team, and I don’t want to spend the rest of the trip sick. I pick a couple of items that still had a face and some things that I had no idea what it was. Thankfully there is always rice. We spent some time lifting ks to father and pwalking in town. We saw some TD as well

Hot and humid on our 7th day here in V. P walking in the heat and all we could find was warm bottled water. Found a internet coffee shop with a portable a/c unit that we are all hovering around. People are really friendly down here. Every shop we pass someone is smiling or saying hi. Staying in a hotel with stalactites hanging from the balconies. Rained lightly this morning. We walked through a market this afternoon. There are many td here, much more than the other places we have been. The rooms we have are really nice. I like the fact that the shower, toilet and sink are all in the same room with one drain. That’s just me though. People like to honk I think to hear themselves honk. Mostly to let us know that they are coming down the road. Many motorcycles here, hardly any cars, most are taxi’s. Thoroughly enjoying what is going on here and what is to come. Looking forward to the next couple of day’s and p that G is listening and b’ing every step made. Everyone is well. Haven’t had to open the medical bag yet. Everyone is OF4C. All for now. This afternoon we toured two businesses started by foreign kingdom workers in L… It is exciting to see God at work through so many people from many different countries. These businesses create jobs, increase business prospects for the country in general, but most importantly they allow these workers access to, evangelize, teach and disciple L** people, the Tai Dam people, as well as other people groups. We will meet together once more tomorrow morning to pray together before we catch the plane to H****. Lift up these workers who are called to live among these people in challenging conditions. Lift up the Tai Dam of V****** whom we will encounter for the first time over the next few days. Lift up our team, we will need protection and strength to remain focused on praying for the Tai Dam.

This is now our fourth day into the prayer trip and our second day in L***s. Our time thus far has felt very spiritually powerful and has been filled with blessing upon blessing upon blessing. Several of these great blessings have been to meet with two people this morning who have done have seen the mighty hand of God moving amongst Tai Dam peoples. Our hearts were filled with truly indescribable joy as we eagerly listened to what our mighty Father is doing to bring His reconciliation to His people.
We have spent half of the day today traveling and visiting a village to walk around and pray. The darkness here is vast and we can surely feel it, and the same time, our hearts are throbbing with God’s love and joy as we look as the beloved faces of these people, knowing that God is hearing our cries on behalf of them. Please pray for these people, for whom Jesus died.
Tomorrow we will be heading to V*****m where will be praying more.
Everyone is healthy and is doing well. Praise the Lord!!!!
Keep praying!

Finally…back to an internet signal (although probably just for a little while J) We made it to Chiang Mai, had a wonderful time with Daron and the orientation at OMF…then in a bus for a short 12 hour night drive to the border!!! Crossed the border into L*** this morning and are now settled in the capitol city. We are on our own for the rest of the trip…Daron (trip guide) had unexpected surgery and was not able to go with us. Mark has been invaluable to the team as he had lived in this area in the past. We are all doing well. Thanks for lifting us up.
Blessings,
The Team

Hello everyone,
Early Saturday morning our team of 6 will head to Southeast Asia. Please lift up our team in prayer as we visit many different areas where the Tai Dam people live. Our itinerary will be demanding (if everything goes as planned). We won't be staying in one place very long as we will visit three countries in 8 days. Areas where we plan to visit with and pray for the Tai Dam include: Northeastern Thailand, central Laos, and Northern Vietnam. We will try to update you as often as possible as we travel.
Please pray for strength and health for our team members. Pray for the Tai Dam people we will meet. Pray that the Holy Spirit moves powerfully among the Tai Dam. Pray that workers will be raised up to work among Tai Dam throughout Southeast Asia! Stop by the Global Outreach office and pick up a prayer bracelet that you can wear during our trip. It's a great reminder to pray everyday!
Thanks for praying!
Mark,
for the Southeast Asia team
