May Day! May Day!
Fifteen years as a worship minister, recently I've been feeling like I need to stretch a little. I have never led worship with a guitar...not even in a small group. I have been writing songs on guitar and playing for a several years but somehow leading worship with it is another matter. It's just too easy to lead at the piano and not have to think about playing. That all changes this Sunday. My guitar doesn't have a pickup and is missing one tuning knob so I borrowed a real guitar from Nathan and I am going for it...not in a home group or a church camp...noooooooo, but in front of 2,000 people. On top of that I am leading a new song. Crazy!
I could crash and burn, or maybe we could all have a good time in the Lord. I'm hoping and praying for the latter.
