Joy Writing
A second day of "joy writing". I finished a song with Steve Marshall we started at WAJ with Donna. Just love it! Can't wait to demo it. Chad poked his head into the room to tell us a hilarious story one of his co-writers shared. Chad makes me smile! Gina and Marty were writing across the hall. Lee showed up and we all ran to lunch at Bread and Co. On the way there we were talking with Steve...Gina and I pulled a hook from the conversation that we ended up writing with Lee that afternoon. Such a cool idea, the way it worked out. When you all hit on the right idea it seems like a bell rings in everybody's head at the same time. Then the work begins. a chorus, a verse then Gina headed for the plane and Lee and I wrote a melody. What a productive day!
Jodie picked me up after we were done and we went to Fulin's Chinese Restaurant with Nathanael. MMMMMmmmmm.
