Blessed
I've been a poor blogger recently...
Laura's wedding was perfect...from the pictures in the morning of the beautiful bride and walking her down the isle, to the jazz band and the wonderful outdoor setting at the reception. Jodie and I were exausted at the end but everybody had a blast. I was a little more nervous at first because I performed the ceremony this time...but I once we got into it, I felt the Lord's blessing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you, God for blessing my daughters with thoughtful, godly husbands!
Today was also a blessing. I am in the mountains, taking in the views and the great sessions at the GMA Seminar in the Rockies. I have been able to spend some quality time with my songwriting friends. The Write About Jesus gang met for lunch today. It was good to catch up and hear what was going on that week. We took turns typing into Sue's blog.
This afternoon I went to a couple of sessions by Jeremy Riddle and Drew Cline dealing on worship leading. I was so moved by what they said and was thanking the Lord for the way He as blessed me on the way down the hill when my cell phone told me I had a couple of messages. The first one was the sweet voice of Jubi saying good morning (it melted me), the second one was Lynn calling, saying they had received the new BBMP worship musical with my song in it. It was playing in the background as she was talking excitedly. Another wave of gratitude hit me.
