Two odds and an end
The end is...the van is totaled. That's what you get for having over 200,000 miles on one no matter if did have a new transmission and A/C. We have been all over in that van, Denver to Nashville. I was a little sentimental...just a little. Jodie cheered me up by saying..well you don't have to worry about the crack in the windshield anymore...or the way it would give a false signal "ding, ding, ding" on the oil level at times...or that the back vent windows didn't open, or... It is kind of freeing when you give up a possession. One less responsibility, one less bill to pay, one less tank to fill, one less bell to answer, one less egg to fry...one less van to pick up after...sorry!
I e-mailed of a couple of lyric changes to Kristie and Gina.
The steel is up on the new worship center. It's getting bigger every day. Next...the roof.
I auditioned a new drummer and lead guitarist (who also plays bass). That is good because a couple players are going away to college.
We are going to Nashville in a few weeks for the Christ Church Conference, taking a couple of our choir leadership and Russell, the Choir Director at CCO. Should be a great time. There are a couple of arranging classes I am excited about.
