Worship Ministry, Songwriting, and other crazy stuff

I DO
The wedding was wonderful. We had a couple of days to decorate and do the cooking on site so that was great. Hannah had jars full of marble stones with branches and moss on all the tables...handcut table runners, beautiful flowers! Laura's cooking was amazing,..special dishes and cakes she has been perfecting for months. I took Hannah to Walter's Woods to meet up with the photographer and Nathan. They said the pictures came out like a fashion mag. She was absolutely radient.
Everybody showed up to a feast at 6 pm and just started eating...it was so relaxing. It was fun to greet everyone during that time. Then at 7 pm Hannah came over to my table to get me. The wedding party came to the center of the room, the room became quiet and we had the ceremony. It was very moving. Tim (Nathan's dad) did such a great job with the service. I said my four words on cue. When he was getting ready to pronounce them man and wife he was taking his time and Hannah was bouncing with anticipation. She is so happy. That makes me happy.
The party just went on from there. I could tell people were really enjoying themselves. That's what Hannah really wanted. So many said they just loved the relaxed atmosphere. The couple left to a barrage of (get this) WATER BALLOONS! That's what they wanted. The kids there sure had fun with that.

BJ made my day Friday by emailing to say that he tracked "Sovereign Lord" in the studio with full orchestra and when they took it the the church to do the "live" part of the recording, the response of the worshippers was powerful.  They are mixing on Monday.  Can't wait to hear it.

I head to Louisville, KY to a songwriting retreat this week with Sue, Joel, and a bunch of other great writers. I'm really looking forward to it.
Please, pray for the Lord's blessing for all of us.
