What the Lord Has in Mind
Highlights so far.
Monday I spent a couple hours at the Caffine getting to know a new co-writer. We are trying to get together on Thursday if things go the way he thinks. Otherwise it's next time I am in town.
Nathanael did a great job at Bluebird. He sang a new song I hadn't heard.
Yesterday, I took Nathanael to BBMP to show him around. One of my co-writers writers had to reschedule last minute so I ended up writing with him in the morning. The Lord has His ways...and I'm learning to trust that. The song really moves me. It just keeps growing.
I wrote with Marty in the afternoon. He liked the first idea I brought so we went for it. It was a choral piece. We labored over the chorus lyric quite a while trying to get the most out of it, but we used two of the three possible verses I had brought in, so the lyric is pretty complete. Can't wait to see where the melody goes on this one. The writing rooms were a buzz of activity yesterday.
Today I have a big day. Three appointments with James, Regi, and Lynn. I had a good workout on the treadmill so I am feeling good. Just looking to see what the Lord has in mind.
