What He wants
Prayer gathering was amazing tonight (again). It started off with a rapid fire series of testimonies of answered prayer- evidence of revival spreading in our school, jobs for people we have been praying for quite a while, people coming to the Lord, we have been praying for. It was wonderful. Then the blessing of lifting up the prayer cards and praying for the people that have turned them in. Interceding is a Jesus activity. It is what he has been doing for us since He came and even now, He stands at the right hand of God interceding for us. What a blessing to share in His ministry. Tonight was special to me also because these prayer warriors gathered around me to ask God to help me write the songs that He wants next week when I am in Nashville. It was such a blessing to my heart. Olivia gave me her e-mail in case I have any specific requests.
Part of prayer is expressing our desires to God, another part is submitting to what He wants. At the end of the day I think I really do just want what He wants.
