Vocabulary
Our once very shy seven-year-old daughter told us today. "I summoned up the nerve to try out for a speaking part" (in the children's musical). She is going to be a writer someday. I'm now sure of it. Read More...

He's in the "Home"

They have finished remodeling the mall.  The two Famous Bar stores are now Macy's stores.  I only go there to walk with Jodie when the weather is bad.  I don't mind shopping as long as it is a home improvement or electronics store.  Anything else, and I am looking for the food court.

Jodie noticed today that they left out the very important slash / in some of the the Macy's store signs at the mall.   They should read  “Macy's Men's / Home“.  Instead, they read...well, you know.  She said it is probably where all the abandoned husbands end up.

Style

Jubi was singing a little song tonight...”I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.”   She asked me if the song was one of mine.  I told her no, that I had heard it when I was little.  “It sounded like you,” she said.   She knows my style.

It reminded us both of the Blue Bell in the freezer (that's her style).
