Great people - Great trip!
What a wonderful time it has been here in San Jose Costa Rica. We came to be a blessing and, as always, we seem to be the ones who are the most blessed. Our time has consisted of teaching, preaching, sharing and spending a lot of time with our global partners, the Darrin King family and the Roger Twitchell family who work with an organization known as "Puente" which means "bridge" in Spanish. Truly their ministry is a bridge to the Costa Ricans and the new church plants that they are involved in and the leadership training that they regularly lead is a big blessing to this land. The beauty of Costa Rica is hard to express, unless you have been here. The butterflies, hummingbirds, and majestic green mountains are set in such a way that it is hard to ignore the artistry of the Creator. But even more beautiful is to see what He is doing in the lives and hearts of the people. After church on Sunday, we went as a church to the nearby public swimming pool, not to swim, but to witness a new young lady being immersed into Christ. A part of the church (probably 40 of us) gathered around one corner of the swimming pool and with pink floaties and bathers all around, we prayed and saw a brand new sister make her commitment of faith! What a great way to end a great weak. The Kings, Twitchells and their national partners, Edwin, Edward and many others are making a real difference here in beautiful San Jose. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Hello from Costa Rica! We are all doing well and enjoying our time with Roger and Elaine and Darrin and Chrissy. Lots of laughter and converstion. I have enjoyed afternoons of game time with Kenna and Eliza Twitchell. They are beautiful girls and such a joy to be around. Tuesday and Wednesday evening we had the opportunity to be in the homes of several church members and fellow believers. During this time we shared and heard stories of how God is working in the lives of His people. God is good. We have felt very welcome and loved here. We send our love to our families. We will see you soon. Lesli, on behalf of the Costa Rica team.

Hello all,
The team arrived here safe and sound...all our luggage made it...and the Kings were at the airport to meet everyone. We have had a good first day in Costa Rica. We had the opportunity to prayer walk around the neighborhood where the new church is located. What a blessing to spend hours talking to God about this place, these people and the church. We have had several good talks with the Kings and Twitchells. That evening Wade spoke ot the church about Missions around the world and the role they play in the kingdom advancing. Tomorrow we meet with cell groups in the church.
Keep praying!
